Join professors Phoebe Roeder and Bruce Harley on this hands-on exploration of one of our neighboring border communities. Our partner organization, Via International, will lead us on an “insider” tour of Mexicali, allowing us to learn about the educational system of Mexico and issues related to migration, partner with local community members in a service project, visit neighborhood microcredit projects, and participate in unique cultural experiences. This 1-unit experiential course is open to all SDSU students and will satisfy the study abroad/international experience requirement for students in the Liberal Studies major and the University Honors Program.*
